  1. THIS IS NOT A REPLY TO THE FAQ’s – I just wanted to contact Joy. – T: 402-689-0463 / 397-6231

I have been in the solar business for nearly 30 years and started a nonprofit version 2 years ago.

I had considered several business models, but alas – Nebraska is uniquely conservative with these ideas and I took a job teaching solar for a year. I am one of the founders of the Omaha solar co-op effort (Brice was in my first renewables class) and VP of Nebr Solar Energy Society. There seems to be a cadre of people interested in following through with the project. I am returning to entrepreneurial efforts with for-profit and nonprofit business versions. A few of us are working on developing the financial tools and/or legislation to make renewables work better for the consumer. I look forward to your trip to Omaha and hope to talk soon. Best, Michael
